Booking Policy: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. All reservations must be made on the website. If you are unsure what to choose, feel free to call us at 941-681-6037 and we will help you choose the trip that fits your needs and budget. Once a booking is made, the Captain will contact you to confirm reservation and discuss meeting location date and time. Gratuity of 20% is of total cost is customary on all fishing charters that require a deckhand or mate. Please take care of your mate!
Cancellation Policy: When you reserve a trip, we do not book anyone else for that date and time. There are absolutely no refunds for a completed trip. This includes partially completed trips ended early due to reasons such as sea sickness, weather, personal preference of the customer, or any other reason. Cancellation of a trip with less than 72 hours notice will result in loss of your paid deposit for that scheduled date. No shows at the dock on your scheduled date and agreed upon time will result in loss of your paid deposit. This excludes cancellations made by the Captain due to rough sea conditions. The Captain reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time due to bad weather/high winds or quickly changing conditions for the safety of the fishermen & crew.
Sea Sickness: There are no refunds for sea sickness. If you have no experience offshore prior to your trip we strongly urge you to take motion sickness medicine if allowed by your physician. Dramamine works well but should be taken morning of the trip BEFORE you leave your home, and the night before! The medication WILL NOT WORK if it is taken while on the boat. Patches work well also but must be applied the night before your trip and worn while you sleep and the day of your trip. It must be a unanimous decision of the entire party to return to dock early. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR SEA SICKNESS, OVERHEATING, EXHAUSTION, OR ANYTHING SIMILAR.
Refund Policy: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking for all trips. The remaining balance is due the day of the Charter. You may cancel your scheduled charter for any reason up to 72 hours prior to your trip. Trips cancelled by the customer will be full refunded if cancelled more than 72 hours of the reserved date. Refund of deposit will be made to the payment method used during booking usually within 5-7 days. If cancelled by the customer after 72 hours notice, nothing will be refunded and you will forfeit your deposit. Deposits forfeited by the customer due to cancellation outside the required timeframe of 72 hours cannot be applied to a future trip. Trips cancelled by the captain due to bad weather at any time prior to the scheduled trip will always be fully refunded to the customer.
